Skyline Prep South Phoenix is located at the base of South Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona, a vibrant and diverse community known for its rich cultural heritage, strong sense of community, and dynamic blend of urban and suburban landscapes.
South Mountain and neighboring communities Laveen, Ahwatukee Foothills, and Tempe offer residents and visitors a unique tapestry of experiences, from the rugged beauty of South Mountain Park to the bustling commercial corridors along Baseline Road and Central Avenue. Phoenix also hosts several Fortune 500 companies such as Avnet, Freeport-McMoRan, PetSmart and Honeywell Aerospace and is the 5th largest city in the country.
Skyline Prep South Phoenix campus is a tuition free PK-12 campus comprised of a Preschool (Skyline Early Academic Center), K-4 charter school (South Phoenix Prep & Arts), 5 – 8 charter school (South Valley Prep & Arts) and a 9-12 charter high school (Skyline Prep High School). Skyline Prep South Phoenix focuses on Academics, Arts and Athletics to deliver a well-rounded education leading to strong post graduate college and career development.
It is the mission of Skyline Prep to provide each student and family with high quality college and career ready educational programs designed to stimulate life-long learning while developing character through academics, athletics, the arts and leadership.
All students within our Phoenix, AZ, school network receive comprehensive performance and visual arts education, including at our arts and media prep high school, Skyline Prep. Our curricula are aligned to the Arizona State Grade Articulated and National Standards, as well as the National Standards for Arts Education.
Skyline Prep’s high school athletic program is among the best in the state. Our coaching staff consists of highly qualified professionals who provide the best opportunities for every student-athlete. The purpose of our high school sports programs is providing an educationally sound program that emphasizes participation, sportsmanship, safety, leadership, teamwork, and a competitive edge for all our athletes.
As a student of learning, you must set high expectations for yourself. We challenge students to set their own set of goals to achieve success. Each student is different but taking ownership of your results is a constant.
Understanding that our students’ minds are young and can be molded and shaped into a successful, valuable contributor to the world. It is a journey that extends beyond school into the home and must be supported by family.
Once enrolled at Skyline Prep High School, all teens are introduced to what career planning for high school students looks like. We want your child to have an early edge on self-reflection, goal setting, building relevant skills, the college application process, and more.

The Ronda S. Owens Academic Honors Program is designed to challenge Skyline Education students to go above and beyond in their education with exposure to advanced academics including, but not limited to, increased rigor, independent study, and project-based learning.
